Journey Home

An Arts Experience for Incarcerated Women

Journey Home is a six week program during which a series of workshops are presented to incarcerated women by professional artists. The workshops aim to:

• Provide an environment for self-expression

• Build mutual trust by exploring new ways of communicating

• Provide an opportunity to experience a positive sense of self

Sistah Circle

Talking circles for women of color

The Sistah Circle is a place where sistahs gather to discuss the evolution of their individual spirits and that of the collective. The Circle is a place where women can share the essence of who they are in the spirit of love and trust, which is sisterhood in the purest sense.
